WELCOME TO ODSAL – SATURDAY 22nd May

The event will run whilst adhering to the government guidelines regarding Covid-19 and following the ORCi method statement and risk assessment.

We would like to remind everyone to review the latest Government guidance which can be viewed at www.gov.uk/coronavirus before travelling.

ALL ADMISSION IS ONLY VIA ADVANCED TICKET

Race fans please note that tickets are NOT available to purchase at the raceway on the day of the event. If you have not got advanced e-ticket(s) please do not make the journey to the event as you will not be permitted entrance into the venue

Session Times

The drivers pit gate will open 2.pm.

The spectator turnstiles will open at 4.pm.

Spectators please be advised to wait in your cars if you arrive prior to the turnstile opening time to aid with social distancing within the turnstile area.

The stadium for Covid reasons is ‘ zoned’ and when you arrive you may decide subject to availability where you wish to stand. In terms of Grandstand, again due to social distancing rules, capacity is limited.

Attendance & PPE

Remember this race event is restricted and under Government / local authority guidance.

All drivers will be required to supply their own racing PPE as normal plus a face covering (mandatory for all persons in your social bubble) which must be worn at all times once within the stadium except in the case of the driver when you have your racing PPE on to racing.

You must follow government advice and if you or any of your group are suffering from Covid symptoms or feeling unwell, you should not attend.

Spectators must enter the stadium via the advanced ticket entrance and please remember to bring your face covering and e-ticket with you to avoid any issues at the turnstiles.

Pit Parking

On arrival at the raceway you will be required to queue in pit lane until instructed where to park. Please follow the verbal and hand signals of the pit marshal. All transporters will be required to park whilst leaving a ‘cars’ gap between each other.

REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST BE WEARING YOUR FACE COVERING BEFORE ENTERING THE STADIUM.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE TOO EARLY AS WE HAVE TO MAINTAIN ACCESS ROADS

Spectator Parking

On arrival at the raceway please follow the guidance to the designated car park for the event.

Social Distancing

Drivers:- Maintain a social minimum distance of 1 metre at all times, unless it’s not possible (i.e. – when repairing a car) plus PPE MUST be adhered too. This is mandatory.

Spectators:- Maintain a social minimum distance and be wearing your face covering at all times. They may be removed for eating or drinking.

Toilets

Toilets will be provided but social distancing must be maintained whilst queuing to use the facilities.

Refreshments

Due to Covid rules with regards limitations on catering you ARE permitted to bring your own FOOD & DRINK into the stadium, but NO alcohol or Glass

Pets

Please be aware that dogs are not permitted at this stadium, sorry guide dogs only.

Spectator Zoning 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & STADIUM PLAN FOR 22nd May & 31st May
Please read carefully to assist access.
As we have to limit capacity and divide the stadium into Zones under government guidelines for major event stadiums - it has become necessary to zone the stadium - The most popular area from past experience is the 'Bradford turn' which is split into 2 equal zones.
Please study the plan so you have an idea of where you would like to go before you arrive if at all possible and below are the entrance gates for the zones - all have wheelchair access - Upon arrival, based upon your selection you will receive a wristband for that zone.
WEST ZONE - Back straight - ENTRANCE VIA GATE 3 [ front car park area ]
7 zones - 1 - 7
ZONE 1 & 2 reserved for drivers & Mechanics 
3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - for public access
NORTH TERRACE - ENTRANCE VIA GATES 5 / 6 on Rooley avenue
Turns 1 / 2 (F1 direction 3 / 4 Banger direction) - 2 Zones - for public access
MAIN GRANDSTAND ENTRANCE is via Gate 8 on Rooley Avenue
Limited Covid capacity
Turnstiles open at 4.00pm with racing commencing at 6.00.pm [ Grand Parade 5.30.pm ] Please download your confirmation and bring it with you to the entrance gate – this is essential to minimise delays.
