The postponed meeting at Bradford last Saturday (19 June) was programmed to be the track’s World Championship qualifying round.

Because it is considered that the loss of a WCQR would be detrimental to the sport, the meeting at Bradford on Saturday 17 July will now be the track’s World qualifier.  This date is the only Bradford fixture featuring the F2s before the date of the World semi-finals.

As a consequence, the English Open championship will be postponed to a later date in the season – further details will follow in due course.

As the final for the English Open features a non-standard grid that is different from that specified in the Rule Book for the final of a World qualifier, it would not be possible to run the English Open championship at the same meeting as a WCQR, hence the decision to reschedule the English Open event to later in the season.
